Holly the blind dog
Blind Holly was part of the same court case as Cookie. Part of an animal hoarder's collection of dogs, she was surrendered as a result of a court order.
Like Cookie, Holly is completely blind, too, although in her case one eye has sunken in and the other eye has glaucoma. That eye, despite its appearance, is not painful or uncomfortable, our vets believe.
Holly was in far worse shape than Cookie: Holly had an enormous malignant anal tumor that was, as our vets described it, 'angry and bloody.'
They successfully removed the tumor and Holly has recovered. Now she spends her days sleeping. .. it seems about 20 hours a day. When she's not sleeping, she wanders the yard, waiting for her next meal.

This blind old girl has a face that looks like she's an old bantamweight prize-fighter who lost too many rounds. Judging from her endless appetite, however, it seems she's trying to gain enough pounds to jump back into the ring at least as a middleweight contender.
